Monika Tichacek / to all my relations
I recently went to this art exhibition opening,
as well as the beautiful art on the walls, there
was an amazing harp performance by another artist.
The people that watched and listened where taken to a
magical place by the sound and serenity of it all.
The mixed media artworks on the walls where by Monika Tichacek,
her beautiful use of watercolour and intricate detail also made you feel
like your were in a fantasy land.
This exhibition is at the Karen Woodbury Gallery, Richmond
from the 4th - 28th May

Comb Gallery space
Comb gallery space in Tweed is officially open,
and was a bit hit with the locals.
It's the first space of its kind in the area,
artists can exhibit works of all media's
in the space.

Washed Up, Knitted neck pieces
Rewind back to first year of uni 2009,
when these knitted neck pieces where created.
washed up is the theme with inspiration
from all the washed up items that
line the beach after a big storm.
Made by hand on a knitting machine,
combined with found objects
from the shoreline.

Graphica
The opening to the graphica exhibition
was a big success,such a beautiful
array of designs on display,
